How Can We Better Celebrate Christmas Eve?
In celebration of Christmas, this is a completely biased and ridiculously short piece of writing as compared to my previous pieces. I feel like I’ll be saying this a lot — Christmas Eve is possibly my favourite day of the year. It marks the start of an end. It also marks the end of a start too. It is a period that induces the feeling of reluctance which leaves us crying really hard in one moment, and having overly extended laughter attacks in the next. I prefer the formal. In fact, I like the formal a lot. Here are some of my personal favourites:
The “I want to cry” show:
Violet Evergarden
The “I want to cry harder” show:
My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday
The “I want to cry like how my first love broke my heart” show:
Us And Them
The “I prefer to laugh” show:
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
The “I’m not interested in crying or laughing. Instead, I want to get my heart racing for two straight seasons on a perfectly planned heist that involves tons of brilliant psychological warfare, and a lot of me going — !?!??!!” show:
Money Heist
