Dear Future Interior Designer

I’d like to think that investment is more of a negative art. What you don’t do is more important than what you actively do. This is the period when we don’t do much in the crypto space. You’re either buying the dip or waiting for the dip’s dip. So, I’ve decided to take some time to write a messy brief to my future interior designer.

Windy, airy
Big ceiling-to-floor windows that accentuate height, natural light and openness
Extended L-shaped sectional sofa
Ceiling fans, including a mini one in the kitchen
Mysterious fun vibes by embedding the room doors as part of the decoration
Curved edges to walls and furniture for a softer look
Modern lux theme with a focus on black, brown and soft glows
Integrate Japanese wood element for a cozier ambience
Overlook sky, lake or sea; not exactly a fan of greenery
Huge tiles/slabs to give an illusion of height or width
All chairs to have a back rest
A raised platform into the main living room with the lowered platform as a dirty area to step in with our shoes
Convenient shelving space underneath a cabinet for easy access of shoes/slippers whilst hiding it
A seating area to put on your shoes
A big toilet sink
A raised platform for lounging and storage
Consider another raised platform with cove lighting for the beds
Blackout curtains is a must
A dedicated space for the floor vacuum robot
LED stripe lights; yes. Exposed toilet pipes; no.

My hope is that we can make the complicated simple while preserving nuance. Let’s have fun putting the pieces of this jigsaw puzzle together, shall we?

There is a fine line between fishing and doing nothing. We would like to think that we’re fishing, but the truth is we don’t have the line.
